<p><strong>Background. </strong>The edible mushroom <em>Pleurotus ostreatus</em> is a potential alternative for the control of gastrointestinal nematodes due to their nematoxins and secondary metabolites. <strong>Objective. </strong>To evaluate <em>in vitro</em> anthelmintic activity hydroalcoholic extracts mycelium, basidiomata spent substrate <em>P. against eggs unsheathed larvae <em>Haemonchus contortus</em>. <strong>Methodology. mycelium was extracted with ethanol–water (70:30) methanol–water which were concentrated obtain (MHA), (BHA) extract (SMSE) extracts.
